【Announcement】 PREMIUM FOOD SHOW 2022 VEGE FOOD EXPO (April 13th-15th)
From April 13th (Wed) to April 15 th (Fri) , Premium Food Show will be held in Tokyo Big Sight. In this year, the event which is focused on Plant based, Vegan and Vegetarian is being planning and be called “VEG FOOD EXPO” . At the event called ” VEGE FOOD EXPO”, the booth which specializes in plant based food, Vegan and Vegetarian food will be set up. Moreover, products with vegan certification also will be exhibited. VegeProject Japan will have a booth at the event.
At the exhibition, there are some business seminars relating to the topics, vegan, vegetarian, plant-based, halal and organic.
Haruko Kawano, VegeProject’s representative director will have a presentation with the chief chef of TOKYO BUSINESS SERVICE CO.,LTD., who is managing vegan and plant-based menus at cafeterias of city offices and companies.

【Report】 Health & Wellness Japan Expo 2022 (40th )
At Health & Wellness Japan Expo held on February 8th to 11th, Representative director of VegeProject Japan Haruko Kawano provided a seminar on the topic “Beyond a Trend – Understanding and Taking Part in the Plant-Based Movement”. The event attracted attention and reached full capacity of 150 participants, reserved in advance.
Participants sometimes took the note while they listening to the seminar with eager.
In the main of this seminar, we introduced the present situation of domestic and overseas plant based market, and the importance of plant based products on the market in the future.
We provide consultations and advice for companies.

At Health & Wellness Japan Expo 2022, companies handling vegan and plant based products such as Takahashi Sauce Co., Ltd. also had their booth. Co., Ltd Takahashi sauce received and brands some of their products, such as their Vegan & Organic Sauce, using vegan certification. The company’s booth attracted a large number of visitors.

【Announcement】 Wagashi shop “Yukimatsu-Kyokushoudou” online seminar
Long-established wagashi (Japanese sweets) shop Yukimatsu-Kyokushoudou established in 1837 holds online course every month. The topic of the course on April is “Vegan from Zero”. In the course, Mr. Yukimatsu Hironobu, who is the seventh representative of Yukimatsukyokushoudou, and Representative of VegeProject Japan Haruko Kawano will provide a talk.
The course will be held on Zoom, and all people who buy vegan products at the shop during March through the shop or online shop will receive an invitation.
In this course, we plan to make an introduction to veganism, and hold a Q&A chat. If you are interested in the online course and vegan wagashi, you could check the vegan sweets at the shop or on their website. There are 6 types of vegan wagashi offered.
