The Second FY2025 High School Graduation Equivalency Examination, held by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology, used Japan VegeMap, which is created by our organization.
The High School Graduation Equivalency Examination is a national examination held by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology.
It fairly evaluates the learning achievements of people who could not graduate from high school for various reasons.
It certifies whether they have academic ability equal to or higher than that of a high school graduate.

Japan VegeMap was used in the geography exam. The exam included a question on world cultural diversity and international understanding. The theme was “hospitality for vegetarian travelers visiting Japan,” and Japan VegeMap was introduced as one example of support for such travelers.

Japan VegeMap is a website created by our organization. It introduces restaurants and shops across Japan that offer vegetarian and vegan options on a map. It is available in two languages: Japanese and English.
Based on this website, our organization also creates a printed map called “Tokyo VegeMap”. It introduces restaurants and takeaway shops in Tokyo that offer vegetarian and vegan options.
