Last month, the Nikkei Newspaper published an article introducing the Tokyo VegeMap.
Following this article, on January 6, 2024, the newspaper once again featured our organization’s initiatives.

The article discusses the challenges associated with the increasing number of tourists and foreign residents in Japan, focusing on the provision of vegetarian and vegan food. It introduces our organization’s activities, including the Tokyo VegeMap and the recent “VegeProject 10th Anniversary & VegeMap 3rd Edition Release Party” held at the end of last year.
The article highlights the variety of vegan-labeled products displayed at the party and includes comments from business participants regarding the vegan industry.

The article also touches upon the origins of our organization’s activities, based on the experiences of our representative Haruko Kawano, concluding that our efforts are “a positive example of internationalization that is rooted in practicality”.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Mr. Ishinabe, a journalist from the Nikkei Newspaper, who has been covering our initiatives and took time out of his busy schedule to attend the aforementioned party.
