On October 16 in 2022, our Taito-based organization joined in the local social outreach festival Fukushi Tsunagari Festa. The Taito Council of Social Welfare ran the event at Panda Square, in front of the Okachimachi Station South Exit.

Taito-based organizations and businesses gathered to connect with locals through displays, sales, and workshops: all towards the festival’s goal to push forward the development of a community-centered, inclusive society. Around the stage, a lively crowd gathered for performances and raffles where presents could be won.

Alongside selling vegan-certified products, at the VegeProject tent we introduced veganism and our mission to increase vegan options in Japan. We also talked to locals about Taito-specific topics, such as vegetarian- and vegan-friendly restaurants in the area.

The opportunity to interact with event-goers and local organizations and businesses was very valuable to us.
We would like to express our sincere gratitude to the Taito Council of Social Welfare that ran this event, to the organizations that participated alongside us, and to everyone who visited our booth.
