“Organic Lifestyle EXPO 2021” was held from Thursday, September 16th to Saturday, September 18th in conjunction with the “Premium Food Show 2021 Autumn”. A vegan/vegetarian section was set up for the first time at this expo.
In the vegan/vegetarian section, a lot of vegan products, including many of our partners’ products, were showcased. VegeProject had a booth and a display on the relationship between Sustainable Development Goals and veganism. We also sold vegan lucky bags featuring an assortment of our partners’ products. They were sold at about half the regular price as a promotion. In addition, influencer Risako Tanabe visited the vegan section and our booth.

Not only businesses that are considering the development and introduction of vegan products, and businesses that have already started doing so, but also members of the public interested in veganism stopped by our booth. We also shared the advantages and features of veganism to those new to it.
At this event, many vegan products were exhibited, and we were glad to see the spread of veganism in Japan. We will continue to further spread veganism/vegetarianism through such exhibitions and through sharing information via VEGETIME, SNS, and other media.
