The international Animal & Vegan Advocacy (AVA) Summit will be held in Washington, D.C for four days, from October 10-23, 2022.

In their shared goal to defend animal rights and create a better future for animals, humans, and the environment, nearly 1000 advocates will gather from across the globe and learn from a similarly diverse cast of 105 experts and activists.

From Japan, our organization’s representative Haruko Kawano has been invited to the AVA Summit and will be speaking on Sunday, October 23.

Many of the speakers are famous in the world of vegan-related work and activism, such as world-renowned moral philosopher Peter Singer, filmmaker Ryuji Chua who recently appeared on popular American talk show The Daily Show with Trevor Noah, ProVeg co-representative Dr. Melanie Joy, and Gene Baur of Farm Sanctuary.
