These days, more and more people have begun to work on problems related to the environment, animal welfare and rights, as well as our human health and rights.

As a result, vegan events and seminars, which are not only for business but also for the general public and students, are becoming more popular.

In this article we will cover one conference and event we recently joined.

●Animal Advocacy Conference Asia 2021 (AACA 2021) : November 20th to 28th, 2021

The Representative Director of VegeProject, Haruko Kawano, was the first person to make a presentation at the Animal Advocacy Conference Asia (AACA 2021),  organized by Animal Alliance Asia.

Many Asian organizations that work for animals participated, with the aim of engaging in activities and exchanging perspectives.

VegeProject gave a speech titled “How a Small Team Has Been Making Vegan Choices in Japan”.

Our collaborations with companies, restaurants, and governments have helped to broaden the availability of vegan options in Japan and we were able to, based on this, suggest some tips we think are important in negotiations and communication.

In the discussion session, participants from around the world seemed to have a great time with each other as they shared their activities and objectives.

Brian’s Seminar at Musashi University organized this event featuring several organizations that contribute to realizing SDGs .

This fair was mainly for students from Musashi University and Deakin University in Australia, which has an agreement with the former university.

On the first day of this fair, Mian Osumi gave a presentation as the representative of VegeProject.

She explained our mission, our projects, and their relation with the environment, animal rights, as well as our own lives.

Several other organizations which are involved in SDGs also participated in this event.

You can find information on these organizations by checking Brian’s Seminar’s social media pages.

We hope this event was informative for students.
