“THE TOKYO TOWERS Community Festival 2024” was held on November 17th at the high-rise residential building “THE TOKYO TOWERS” in Kachidoki, Chuo City.
This event is organized by the residential association of the facility to foster community engagement.
The venue hosted various activities for both children and adults, such as a flea market, unicycle practice sessions, and stage shows. Visitors could also learn about disaster prevention and safety through an elevator entrapment experience and workshops.
This year’s theme was “ethical consumption”, featuring businesses offering sustainable products. Our organization was invited to participate and hosted a booth at the event.
At our booth, we introduced vegan lifestyles, sold vegan-certified products, and distributed copies of the “Tokyo VegeMap“, a paper-based map introducing vegan-friendly stores in the city.
We interacted with numerous visitors, including first-time buyers of vegan products who were surprised at the variety of vegan products and vegan-friendly stores introduced in our map.
Chuo City Assembly Member Makiko Takahashi also visited our booth.

The Chuo City Assembly, of which Ms. Takahashi is a member, declared the “Zero Carbon City Chuo City” initiative in March 2021, aiming for net-zero CO2 emissions from the city by 2050.
As part of this initiative, “Team Carbon Zero” presented a poster promoting meat-free dining. The poster explained how abstaining from meat consumption contributes to achieving “carbon neutrality” by reducing greenhouse gas emissions.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to The Tokyo Towers Residential Association for organizing this event, to all the participating organizations, and to everyone who visited our booth.
