On June 4th and 11th, Mainichi Shimbun,one of the biggest newspaper companies, published an article about rising interest on plant based food.
The article wrote about the growing market for the plant-based food both nationally and globally. As the generation who have studied SDGs (sustainable developing goals) are becoming the main consumers, environmentally friendly and ethical products are demanded even more than before.
In the article, our organization’s effort to increase vegan options including the Vegan Certification were introduced. The comment from Haruko Kawano, the head of VegeProject, on the plant-based market were also included.
We would continue to strive for a society with abundant vegan options.
