VegeProject introduced in Shimisen Magazine『hotpot』No.77
Our organization was introduced in the 77th issue of Kyoto City Shimisen’s official magazine “hotpot.” Kyoto City’s Shimisen is a municipal organization that supports civic and regional activity groups and is responsible for coordinating volunteers for such events.
Under the theme of “food choices,” this issue focuses on organizations and individuals working to promote vegetarianism and veganism. Our organization, VegeProject Japan, was among the organizations introduced in the magazine, drawing attention to how it all began with just one student at Kyoto University, Haruko Kawano, who still serves as the revered leader of the organization.
