The “Spring Vegetable Fair” is being held at the cafeterias of Shinjuku Ward Office and Kita Ward Office for two weeks from April 12. From the ingredients to the seasoning to the miso soup stock, the menu is entirely plant-based, and is on sale on a weekly basis.
The menu for the first week (April 12th -16th) is “Soybean Meat Tomato Keema Curry.” This curry uses “Vegetable Tomato Keema Curry” which has received the Vegan Certification Mark by NPO VegeProject Japan.
The menu for the second week (April 19th -23th) is “soy meat hamburger steak.” You can eat two main dishes, hamburger and fried lotus root, at the same time.
The cafeteria is also available to those who do not live in Shinjuku Ward or Kita Ward. It’s only for 2 weeks, so please come visit us during this period!
* Please note, to those who may be concerned: the fried food uses a fryer that also fried animal ingredients, and the recipe also uses white sugar.
