On Thursday 18th July 6.00pm – 7.30pm, VegeProject interns will host “Voices from Youth: Changemakers’ Workshop” at WeWork Shibuya Scramble Square.
This event invites young individuals interested in, or currently involved in different types of social activism or volunteer activities, such as environmental protection, youth political participation, or the promotion of vegan choices in Japan, among others.
Small-table discussions will be organized, where participants will be able to know each other, find shared goals, and explore future collaborations.
VegeProject’s Intern Organizers
Currently, VegeProject Japan hosts interns from a variety of universities around the world. Interns Angelina Rivera, from the United States, and Sophie Handford, from New Zealand, are leading the coordination and execution of this project.
Both have experience in social movements and political activities in their home countries. Angelina having experience as a voter registration volunteer. Sophie being a prominent activist of the School Strike 4 Climate movement in New Zealand, as well a local Councillor since the age of 18.
