●BIO-RAL’s Curry Roux That Are Gentle To The Bodies (sweet and medium-spicy)
BIO-RAL, the private brand of the supermarket LIFE, recently released its curry roux that do not use animal ingredients. They are made from carefully selected ingredients and their rich flavors are extracted from vegetable stock, salted Koji(rice malt) and raw sugar. These products are sold at 125 stores in the Tokyo metropolitan area and some Kinki area.

●TOFFU SOUP (Asahico Inc.)
You might already know Asahico’s TOFFU PROTEIN series such as “Tofu Sweet Pudding” and “Tofu Sweet Almond Jelly”, and they are well known as vegan sweets that can be easily bought at supermarkets. The TOFFU PROTEIN series recently renewed its products “TOFFU SOUP”, and now they are vegan.
Two kinds of soup are available at supermarkets across the country: “Corn Potage (Japanese corn soup)” and “Yuba (Tofu Skin) with soy milk”. “TOFFU SOUP”, which is delicious and rich in plant-based protein, can be enjoyed both cold and warm.

●SOYJOY Plant-Based (Otsuka Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd.)
Now “SOYJOY Plant-Based” series is added to the national favorite soy bars SOYJOY, and they are on sale nationwide. There are two flavors: “White Chocolate and Lemon” and “Banana”. Soybean dough is high in protein and is not only gluten-free, but also low in GI levels, which indicates the degree of absorption of sugar.

Plant-Based candy yasamil, which used soy milk instead of cow’s milk, is launched from Kanro Inc., a company that is famous for its ever-popular snack, Kanro Candy(カンロ飴).
“yasamil” is available at major convenience stores nationwide such as 7-Eleven and Family Mart.
The VegeProject’s vegan mark is on the front top of the cute package that has milk like feeling, and this product has received a big response right after its release. The candy has mild taste that spreads through your mouth.

●US CAN, a sustainable candy (Meito Sangyo Co., Ltd.)
Eco-friendly plant-based candy has been released at supermarkets and pharmacies across the country.
Chlorella is an algal that is expected to be a “sustainable protein” because of its high nutritional value and high yield per area. The candy made with chlorella tastes somewhat like matcha and has mild taste.
The exterior packaging is made of paper, which reduces the use of plastic.
