“Premium Food Show 2023” was held at Tokyo Big Sight from April 12th to 14th.

This is an annual exhibition for industry professionals, showcasing various food trends and needs such as vegan, plant-based, halal, organic, and gluten-free. The event comprises four categories, namely “VegeFood EXPO,” “Halal Market Fair,” “Gluten-free Corner,” and “Organic Food EXPO.”

This year, in collaboration with our organization,  “Vegan Selection” area was set up within the “VegeFood EXPO.” Several partner companies who utilize our vegan certification also exhibited their products in this area.

 

 

 

The variety of vegan products continues to grow. Our organization had a booth at the event, introducing our vegan certification and showcasing a wide range of certified products, including ready-made meals, noodles, seasonings, beverages, and sweets.

 

 

 

During the exhibition’s first day, our representative, Haruko Kawano, provided a business seminar together with Mr. Kataoka, the representative of OneTrip Inc. The seminar titled “Latest Food Trends × Inbound: Plant-based Foods and Key Points for Product Development” received overwhelming attendance, highlighting the increasing demand for responses to inbound tourism and the trend toward vegan and plant-based foods.

 

 

We will continue to promote vegan and plant-based foods through our certification program and other activities. We express our gratitude to all exhibitors, visitors, and the Premium Food Show Executive Committee.
