February 2016,“The Japanese Vegetarian Award” was held by Japan Vegetarian Society.
Haruko Kawano, the president of Vege Project Japan was nominated for the award.
More than 100 those who have been doing the activities regarding to vegetarianism gathered together from all over Japan.
Various backgrounds they have, such as medical, academic, macrobiotic, animal right, companies, and so on.
Ms. Shizuka Tsuruta was awarded the grand prize. She has published many magazines and books regarding vegetarianism for a long time. Congratulations!
