VegeProject hosting a vegan quiz created by the organization at Agri Festa hosted by Kameoka City

At this year’s Agri Festa, a vegan booth was set up, where a quiz about vegan food created by our organization, NPO VegeProject Japan, was conducted.
Visitors first read panels explaining how vegan food benefits the global environment, food security, animal welfare, and health, and then answered quiz questions to deepen their understanding of veganism.
Prizes were awarded by lottery to those who answered all questions correctly. In addition, vegan meatballs were offered for tasting at the venue.

Kameoka City is an environmentally progressive city, having declared itself Japan’s second ever “organic village” and enacted the country’s first ordinance banning the distribution of plastic shopping bags.
From an environmental perspective, Kameoka City has focused on vegan initiatives and has been taking concrete action since last year.
