Food Chemicals monthly magazine’s March issue
VegeProject representative Haruko Kawano was interviewed for an article that appeared in the monthly magazine issued by Food Chemicals Newspaper Inc.
The three-page article covers the history of VegeProject and our thoughts towards the food makers who produce vegan products.
Radio show “Takerō Morimoto Standby!”
On Thursday 16th of March, VegeProject representative Haruko Kawano was also interviewed on the TBS radio show “Takerō Morimoto Standby!”
On the segment of the show called “Attack on site”, the show host presented Tokyo department stores which held special events regarding the growing popularity of plant-based food. They mentioned the great variety of products sold at these department stores special events. They also shared Haruko’s comments on how much the availability of plant-based food has increased in recent years and the back ground.

Premium Food Show 2023 From Wednesday 12th until Friday 14th of April, at Tokyo Big Sight, there will be an exposition presenting food trends including vegan, plant-based, halal, organic, and gluten-free. From Wednesday 17th until Friday 19th of May, at Tokyo Big Sight, there will be two expositions named “ifia JAPAN 2023 28th exhibition on international food ingredients and additives” and “HFE JAPAN 2023 21st exhibition on health and functional food ingredients”.
VegeProject representative Haruko Kawano will give the opening lecture at the event’s seminar titled “New Protein 2023 – development and application of technologies”. Last year’s seminar received more participants than the organizer’s expectation and they decided to hold a bigger scale event in the theme theme this year. We hope a great number of people will participate in this year’s seminar as well.
