From April 13 through April 15, Premium Food Show (PFS) 2022 was held at the Tokyo Big Sight with FABEX. The PFS is a trade exhibition for vegan, plant-based, organic, halal, and gluten-free food manufacturers and marketers.
The VEG FOOD EXPO, the section mainly for vegan, plant-based or vegetarian foods, is the space VegeProject set up the booth. We cooperated with the organizer in arranging the area, business meetings, invites for buyers, and public relations activities.

Most of the VEG FOOD EXPO exhibitors displayed the products carrying the Vegan Certificate by VegeProject. We also promoted the vegan certificate system by showing samples of the certified vegan products and the posters of SDGs at our booth. We welcomed a lot of representatives from food manufacturers and traders who were interested in vegan certified products. It seemed to attract more visitors than expected; we had to replenish flyers on the second day.

To appeal to potential businesses, VegeProject’s founder Haruko Kawano presentsed the latest vegan and plant-based market trends with Mr. Shiro Mitsuya, a master chef of Tokyo Business Service, on the first day of the show. The venue was full with business professionals who booked their seats in adavnce.
Good practices of vegan and plant-based businesses, including the Taito Ward Office cafeteria, were showcased in the seminar as a highlight.

The show and VEG FOOD EXPO witnessed that many businesses are interested in and have expectations for the vegan and plant-based market. VegeProject will continue to work with our partners while initiating collaborations with new contacts we have met at the show.
