FOOD WEEK KOREA 2025, a major food exhibition in Seoul, was held from October 29 to November 1, 2025.

VegeProject Japan was invited by Korea Agency of Vegan Certification and Services (KVCS), with whom we recently launched a mutual vegan certification system, and participated in the event.
On October 31, a vegan-focused conference for the food industry was held, where our representative, Haruko Kawano, served as a guest speaker.

Kawano introduced trends, developments, and successful cases in the Japanese vegan market.
She also explained the benefits and possibilities of using the new mutual recognition system with the Korean vegan certification.
Many food-related businesses in Korea attended the session, showing strong interest in vegan product development and certification.

At the exhibition, numerous Korean food companies showcased their products. Vegan foods were also visible—vegan meats that closely resemble real meat, plant-based milk, and traditional Korean plant-based ingredients. Many of them displayed vegan certification marks.
Through mutual certification and broader collaboration between Japan and Korea, we hope to deepen cross-border exchange and expand vegan options in both countries.
We will continue our efforts to contribute to the growth of the vegan market in Japan and Korea.
