Veggie Idea @Business Contest by TOKYO Metropolitan Gavernment

Kawano, Vege Project Japan’s representative spoke about veggie idea at the final stage of the business contest named Tokyo Startup Gateway, which is held by Tokyo Metropolitan government.

The theme of this contest was “Change the color of the world”.

During 4 times screening process for 4 months, we appreciate that the judges selected Kawano’s veggie idea among 1000 ideas and found business opportunities in this fired while most of Japanese are not aware of vegetarianism yet.

In front of about 350 people, Kawano had a presentation with the message to make better society via vegetarian and vegan choices. Thank you for many audiences who got interested in her idea and visited her after the presentation.

Now, Tokyo metropolitan government and business people can’t ignore vegetarian/vegan concept. Let’s make Japan more vegetarian friendly place!
