[Sat, Sep. 19] Vegan Food Stall at Kita City Summer Festival

On Saturday, September 19, VegeProject Japan will run a stall at a summer festival hosted by the Baba Neighborhood Association in Kita City, Tokyo. The event aims to give residents of the area where VegeProject’s office is located a chance to try vegan food and learn about veganism.

Planned items for sale include vegan meat buns made with soy meat, and pineapple cake and cookies made without eggs or dairy by Shochiku-en, which is also a vegan-certified shop. On the day, individual members of VegeProject Japan will staff the stall. Haruka Iwahashi, the owner of Shochiku-en, and Haruko Kawano, the Representative Director of VegeProject Japan, are also expected to take part.

It’s a small festival held at a local park, but if you’re in the area, please feel free to stop by.
