VegeProject works with businesses, local governments, national government agencies, educational institutions, and international organizations to create and promote vegan options.
What VegeProject Can Offer
VegeProject offers the following services and support related to vegan and vegetarian initiatives:

Product and menu development support
We support the development of vegan products and menu items. This includes consulting, ingredient checks, introductions to ingredient suppliers, and guidance on labeling and customer communication.

Vegan and Vegetarian Certification
Our vegan certification mark is the most widely used in Japan. We are also the only organization in Japan with a mutual certification agreement with an overseas vegan certification body. Our vegan label helps build consumer confidence and supports sales channel development.

Community Development Support
We support initiatives led by national government agencies, local governments, and communities in the areas of vegan and plant-based service development. We have worked with local governments including the Tokyo Metropolitan Government, Fukuoka Prefecture, Taito City, and Kameoka City, as well as national agencies including the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries, the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism, and the Japan Tourism Agency.

Training and events
We provide seminars on vegan catering. We also plan and support events such as lectures, B2B networking events, tasting events, and practical cooking workshops featuring guest chefs.

Business matching
We create opportunities for manufacturers and buyers to connect through dedicated vegan product zones at trade shows, events, and support for promotional efforts. We also introduce buyers to products and businesses that meet their needs upon request.

Research collaboration
We provide supervision, participant recruitment, and implementation support for interviews involving vegan, vegetarian, and flexitarian participants, as well as for research on vegan and plant-based markets.

News Media “VegeTime”
We share information about vegan products, restaurants, and lifestyles. We also feature vegan-certified products.

Vegan-Friendly Store Map “VegeMap”
We create maps featuring restaurants that offer vegan dishes. In addition to the nationwide VegeMap website, we have also produced printed maps for Tokyo and Kyoto City.

University and school outreach
We support students working to introduce vegan options in university cafeterias. We also provide seminars at universities and outreach classes at schools.
