On Monday, November 30, 2026, we will hold the Vegan Market Conference & Networking Dinner, a cross-industry event for businesses involved in the vegan market, in Kioicho, Tokyo.

The event will bring together businesses and organizations from a wide range of fields, including food manufacturers, retail and distribution, hotels and food service, tourism and MICE, as well as government and local authorities. It is a business event aimed at exploring opportunities for new products/services and for concrete business collaboration through networking across industries.

On the day, lectures and panel talks on the initiatives of the government and companies will help participants deepen their understanding of the vegan market and offer practical insights for their businesses. There will also be time for participants to network over vegan dishes, encouraging the exchange of information and creating opportunities for new business.

Through connections and collaboration between companies, we aim to further expand vegan food options in society.

This event is held with partial support from Patagonia’s Environmental Grants Program. Patagonia is a company whose products include outdoor gear.

Now that support for plant-based initiatives has been set out as part of national policy, the speaker will talk about the government’s planned measures and support, and its expectations of businesses.

Theme 1: Perspectives from Regional Development
Panelists: Chubu Centrair International Airport, Tottori Prefecture No. 1 Vegan Project Promotion Council
The panelists will talk about their regional initiatives, their track record of successfully offering vegan options together with stakeholders, what they have learned, and their future outlook.

Theme 2: Perspectives from Vegan Food Service
Panelists: National Federation of University Co-operative Associations, Tokyo Business Service
The panelists will talk about the customer needs and responses they see while serving vegan dishes directly, and what they hope for from food manufacturers.

Theme 3: Perspectives from Product Development
Panelists: Heinz Japan, Deats Food Planning
The panelists will talk about their product lines to date and how the market has responded, why they obtained vegan certification and what has changed since, and the potential for collaboration with other industries.
